On either side of the picture frame are photographs of Sigurður (Siggi) when he was a policeman. The small book is called "A Very Special Grandma" with poetic quotations about the greatness of grandmothers.
Here we have boy scout books and a book about HvÃtá. Siggi and Sigrún loved Iceland and read many of the geological books published.

Siggi was quite the craftsman and did a lot of art and wood crafting.
With the initial 'S' and the year 1953. The year before Ingvar, their eldest, was born.
